Controlled airspace. SACAA-licensed.
Aerial cinematography along the Umhlanga coastline — the Umhlanga Rocks lighthouse, the promenade, Pearls, Sibaya and the Ocean Drive corridor — is restricted airspace because of King Shaka International's approach path.
We operate with a Remote Pilot Licence (RPL), a Remote Operator Certificate (ROC) and the required ATC coordination for controlled airspace. Hobbyist drone operators cannot legally fly commercial work in this corridor.
